Nicole Richie chose Marc Jacobs for the Met Costume Institute's Gala and now I love her even more!
I have to admit that the particular dress caught my eye from the first time I saw it on the runway pictures, not that I would ever dislike something that Marc Jacobs would make, but anyway!
I think that the dress looks better on Nicole than on the model. Do you agree or is it just me?

Nicole looks so classy in that dress thanks to M.Jacobs! The dark hair colour helps, too...
Since she gave birth to her second child, became brunette and gained a couple of kilos , Nicole looks better than ever! As for the dress, amazing!

Nicole here looks naturally beautifull(healthy body, tanned skin, brown hair )and the dress matches perfectly...
