I really admire Ioannis Guia, I've said that before. After all, he has a very interesting view on fashion. He always uses the finest fabrics and his designs never fail to impress us. A few hours ago, I was lucky enough to see the designer and chat with him about his collection. As he told me his inspiration came from Africa, or to be accurate what he has in mind when it comes to Africa.
The clothes hug the body and the outcome is beautiful. I really enjoyed the fact that Mr Guia didn't use the usual African references but he played with the colours and the sihlouettes. Tropical green and Sahara-inspired beige were the basic colours of the collection although I also liked the blue and purple hues.
