Today's outfit post is going to be a little different than the others. You see the foto was taken on Wednesday at Hard Rock Cafe where Ivi invited some bloggers to taste "Fruitea" and have a chat with greek singer Helena Paparizou. 

Outfit-wise I'm developing a HUGE addiction to blue. Is blue the new black for me? We 'll see!

Backstage!

Being around interesting and talented people is a blessing. Being around interesting, talented and fun people is even more than that. I spent Sunday at InBerlin hair salon where not one but two photoshoots took place! Of course I didn't miss the chance and covered all the backstage details especially for you my lovelies! 

While the rest of us were chatting the girls were working on the make-up. On the left Katerina Theocharis, and Marina Koutsoumpa on the right. Tzako worked his hair magic as well!

On the terrace Petros Hatzianastassiou and his team put their lives to risk (ok not really, but it was so scary up there) and created powerful, strong images, with Evelina Litina's clothes.

...While on the basement Dimitris Strepkos and Fenia Labropoulou proved that masterpieces can be created even in the simplest white little room. 

Working with them is so much fun. They're both very creative and the concept was breathtaking. I couldn't believe my eyes!

Stathis Samantas

Last Wednesday at Dressing Bar I couldn't keep my eyes off these:

I promised I would tell you more about the designer and here we are!

Stathis Samantas remembers himself  designing shoes on every sketch book he could find or even in the school desk! So it's no surprise that when he created his first shoe he felt like entering manhood. 

His creations are very chic and can be worn all day long (for those of us who would like to even SLEEP on high heels).

From the very first moment, I loved the vibrant colours and the fact that the shoes are all time classics. I could definately see me wearing them in like 3 years from now. Plus Stathis seems to be really passionate about what he's doing which is always a good thing!

Helena and the Reeboks

One of the reasons why I'm writing about those Reebok ads is that I love these pictures. I don't know if it's because of the gorgeous Helena Christensen or the fact that sneakers never looked that cool but I can't stop looking at them.

What is more interesting about the whole thing, though, is that these sneakers are the new EASYTONE Reeboks that promise to tone our legs. 

Well, I think I would definately invest on a pair (or two!) in order to get those legs!

Stelios Koudounaris @ Dressing Bar

File this under "a very interesting evening". 

At 8 o' clock on Wednesday I arrived at Dressing Bar, were Stelios Koudounaris presented his SS 2010 collection. I had seen the clothes before but I can never get enough of them. After all you know I am all for everything that's simple, wearable with interesting details. Koudounaris has a way to always make everything look effortlessly glamorous and chic.

This time I had the chance to see the clothes up close. Turns out this made me want to buy every single thing! 

The models rocked Stelios Koudounaris tattoos and I was SO jealous I didn't have one!

The "usual suspects" were all there of course. Photographer Patricia Munster took my camera to capture the moment: Stelios Koudounaris, Dimitris Strepkos and me.

Another thing that caught my eye was Stathis Samantas' shoes. Stay tuned to find out more about his work. I'm sure you'll be amazed!

Yellow Sneakers!

Say Hi to my new yellow, laceless babies! 

Remember when I told you that I really wanted a pair of bright coloured sneakers? Well... Can you think of anything brighter than a pair of YELLOW Converses? 

I ordered them yesterday from Fenastock and at 11.30 in the morning today the courier guy came with my package! That was SO quick!

Plus I was the first one to find out about it since I was at the DElight studio when they were invited!

Backstage with Celebrity Skin

Last Sunday Fresh FM 88.6 organised a secret garage concert with Onirama, Lakis Papadopoulos, Myronas Stratis, Penelope Anastasopoulou, Stereo Mike and Giorgos Dimitriadis. 

Celebrity Skin styled the show and made Penelope's dress. I guess there's no need to say that the outcome was amazing and everyone loved the 50's inspired outfits. As any blogger who respects herself would do, I took as many fotos as I could!

Interviewing Sotiris Georgiou

Imako is getting prepared to launch a new site, STYLISTA and I am very happy to announce that I'll be a part of it! I can't reveal a lot of things yet but I am sure you will LOVE it! Stay tuned for details!

That's how on a Friday afternoon I went to meet Sotiris Georgiou at his studio. We all loved his Fall collection and I couldn't help but wonder what it would be like to meet him in person.
I have to say that not only he's an amazing designer but he's a great guy as well! He's very friendly, open minded and down to earth.

Chic & Ethic lab @ Media Camp

The "Chic & Ethic Lab" is a non profit organization, a team of people who are interested in fashion and try to inform other people about the prospects of ethical fashion. Among them fellow blogger Athena. 

The team's Media Camp presentation was very enlightening. 

The most interesting point, in my opinion was that fashion can be ethical AND chic. Many designers create beautiful, elegant clothes following the "rules" of ethical fashion, plus we can always recycle and reuse our clothes.
