Is there anyone who could say No to stripes? Well, I can't. I got this top to pair it with my "leather" shorts back in December and it's (now) becoming one of my favorites. It's loose enough to make me feel comfortable in it and gives that extra something to my simple outfits.
Gant has a special place in my heart. You see, after working for the brand for almost 3 years I can say that it's a piece of me. The oh-so stylish guy that you see here is Gant's head Merchandiser and dear friend of mine Thanos. Thanos was love at first sight for me. Kind, always willing to teach me and totally inspiring! See for yourselves!
As you can see I visited Gant's showroom and I was lucky enough to take a glimpse at the brand new Collection that Michael Bastian designed for the brand.

When it comes to menswear I'm so into Gant (and Michael Bastian). Gant's preppy but contemporary styles with Michael Bastian's cool touches? For me it's a match made in heaven. Anyway, Mr Bastian also designed a limited women's collection for Spring/Summer 2011 that will be out sometime in the middle of the year. I have many pictures to share with you when the time comes so be patient!
As I've said before I'm currently writting my university thesis on Coroporate Social Respnsibility in the Fashion Industry. While browsing through some ethical brands' websites I came across Doucette Duvall. I strongly recommend that you take a look at it because the clothes are so damn awesome. Whoever said ethical brands are boring was wrong. And here's the proof:
Also I got a Nokia N97 mini, so that I could check the Ovi maps application and it is so damn good! I haven't used a non Blackberry phone in YEARS but the transition wasn't as bad as I thought It'd be. Too bad I have to give it back come September!
It's this time of the year again, that I get oh-so excited about the Winter collections. So (please) bare with me!
Anyway, one of my favorite trends so far is the whole belts-over-knits thing.
Relaxed at Michael Kors, chic at Prada and contemporary at Ferragamo (I just LOVE this outfit), here are 3 of the outfits I liked the most.
Also, did you notice that most outfits consist of same colour pieces? I can't say I don't like it, after all it was necessary after going crazy with mixing prints and patterns but I think that mixing different tones of the same colour can be preety tricky.
