NYE in Mariaflora P

So I guess I'm going to say goodbye to 2010 in my Loukia dress and my Mariaflora P. necklace.
Happy NYE!

Miu Miu

I'm trying hard to convince myself that I don't need more shoes, I swear, but Net-a-Porter makes it so hard for me. Don't you agree that these are just perfect for any outfit? I love the design and that beautiful fuchsia sade plus I'm sure that they're really comfortable since they have this 1 inch platform on the front. I have to resist but I totally recommend them for anyone who still has some space in their shoe closet!

Vest and Ray-Bans

There's nothing special about this post. Just me wearing my trusty Ray-Bans, my new Toi&Moi vest and a random stray cutie I met on the street. The weather is really mild here so it's the great opportunity to practice on my light layering skills.

Jean Paul Gaultier + Melissa. (Yeap, they 're mine!)

File these new shoes of mine under " the perfect Xmas Gift".
When Melissa announced their collaboration with Jean Paul Gaultier all magazines and blogs went crazy, remember? I went crazy as well but I never thought I'd be lucky enough to get a pair. That was until I found the precious black box waiting for me at home!
Melissa shoes are really unique for many reasons but mainly because they're (well, obviously) plastic and eco-friendly. What's more important though is that Melissa products have been eco-friendly for about 30 years and it's not like the company now started supporting the new trend.
Melissa uses eco-friendly "mono-materials", there's no waste during the production and all shoes can be disassempled and recycled. Plus, they're cruelty free (yay for no animal products) and the makers work in very good conditions.
As for the pair I got I can assure you that they 're very comfortable despite the thin heel and the straps. Now I only need to decide if I'm going to wait for the summer to wear them with bare feet or if I should start wearing them now with opaque tights. Hard decision!

Amway Press Trip in Munich

A couple of weeks ago, as you know, I made a quick trip to Germany to visit the Amway Experience centre. I can say that those two days were probably the best in a long time and I really want to thank Amway from the bottom of my heart!
Our first stop when we arrived in Munich was the Amway Experience centre where he had the chance to attend very interesting presentation about Amway's history, their product range and the company politics.
Amway has been around for over five decades, it's one of the biggest direct-selling companies and specializes in a wide range of products, from dietary supplements to home care and cosmetics.
What's more important though is Amway's One by One Campaign that aims to help children in need all around the world (thumbs up for that!).

The post is quite a picture-heavy one so click read more for the rest of it!

The Right T-shirt, The Right Day

And here comes the "Merry Christmas" T-shirt. Wore it today to do some last minute shopping with my friend, Orestis. I'm not in the mood for Christmas, but these past days have been awesome. No, more than awesome!
Have fun today!

Merry Christmas - Outfit Edition

When I got this shirt from H&M I wasn't even sure I'd wear it, I'm not a shirt person after all. But what actually happened is that it turned out to be a lucky charm. I wore it at a successful meeting while I was consulting over at Getitnow.gr, I wore it to go for the perfect walk and I wore it yesterday when one of the most important people in my life came back in Greece for the holidays.
I know that this outfit is not exactly what we'd call festive and I'm aware of the fact that my thighs are huge but  I only have good memories from the times I've worn this bastard plus I am really, really happy in this picture. So, I thought it was a good way to wish you a Merry Christmas!

YEshop

I know I still owe you the post from my trip but I thought that you wouldn't mind a little bit more about my visit at Yorgos Eleftheriades' Shop first.
The designer's special prices days were the perfect occasion (ok, excuse) for us to pass by. After all, Yorgos Eleftheriades not only is a designer who makes us proud abroad, but also happens to be one of my favorites.
The skirt that I wore on Sunday and this blue and black top that you see me wearing here were the first things I saw and as you can imagine both were love at first sight. Could you say no to any of the two? The skirt is very unique and the top is the perfect mix of structure and girly details.
Needless to say that having Lopi behind the lens just made things worse. I had nothing to worry about and all I could was shop. So, now you know who is to blame!

The third thing that I laid my eyes on were these shoes that I really, really, really want. They're light as air and feel like you're walking on flats, I swear. I guess I get extra points for managing to resist. Right?
They also come in green and leather, I'm just sayin'!

Yorgos Eleftheriades is always very kind and talkative so it goes without saying that being around him is great. The fact that he's always willing to share his knowledge just makes him even more adorable.
The same counts for George who is in charge of the showroom (seen at the picture above). He is very friendly and always willing to help.
What I can say is that I'm very happy about those latest purchases of mine. Both pieces are beautiful and very well made and I'm sure that I'm going to wear them a lot!

Patricia Field for MCM

Yet another interesting collaboration this time between MCM and Sex and the City stylist Patricia Field. I don't think I've ever bought an MCM bag, but I really like what I see here. I guess that's what people mean when they say that Patricia Field has Midas' golden touch.

Today

More about the event here.

Yorgos Eleftheriades Skirt

Here's what I wore to attend Swap Not Shop on Sunday. Needless to say that I'm very proud of my brand new Yorgos Eleftheriades skirt. It's definately one of my favorites, even if I only have it for a couple of days. The way the designer plays with volume is just beyond me! So awesome!
One of the following days I'll make a post on the skirt and my visit at YESHOP (Yorgos Eleftheriades Shop, that is) so stay tuned and please bare with me until then!

Sotiris Georgiou up to 50% off. Yes it's true!

Well, I guess I don't have to tell you who that guy is! Designer Sotiris Georgiou (who wears one of his own designs from his FW Perplexity collection) is an LFoF favorite and you've seen him here quite some times*.
I definately recommend that you stop by to take a look at his FW collection. These days you can also take advantage of his Christmas Shopping sales and buy his designs up to 50% off.
Bonus if you visit the showroom: You get to meet his assistant, Vangelis and Carmelita!

(Pics were shot by the Fashionarchitect. I was too busy playing with the dog!)

Guess who's Back

Well, I guess I'm back. Please give me some time to put together a post about the trip and I'll be back with the details. For now I am just going to say that I had the time of my life and I have no words to thank the people over at Amway for everything.
I guess I already miss the snow!

Quick Update

In a few hours I'll be flying to Munich (can't reveal any details yet!), so there will be no posting for the next couple of days. I don't worry though, because I know that the rest of the fashion bloggers will keep you updated.
While I'm away I'd suggest that you take a look at my Smart X-Mas Shopping Project. I've been working on it for the past 3 weeks and I'd love to hear your comments and feedback. I was actually challenged among other things to do all my Christmas shopping using a card instead of cash and I think it's preety interesting.

Moreover you can check out some of my articles over at Stylista.gr

Gotta go pack if I want to catch that plane!

More Books For Me

I can't tell you how happy I am for these buys. All three books turned out to be amazing, especially the Audrey Hepburn one. I mean, it has pictures of almost all the Breakfast at Tiffany's Outfits. How awesome is that?

Gift ideas Pt 2 - OYYO watches

Last Night Snapshot

Sunday Night at Gazaki and I bumped into George Anagnostopoulos. Convincing him to take an outfit picture with me was not difficult at all so here we are proudly showing our outfits (yes, George was very, very proud of his outfit):
I don't think that there's anyone who could compete with this guy when it comes to having fun or making everyone look at you. I can only tell you that minutes later he was dancing  like there's no tomorrow. That, of course, would not be a problem if a. he wasn't the only one dancing b. he wasn't in the middle of the street.
Anyway, George it's a great honour to have you in my blog, although I think that you should start your own fashion blog. It's a pitty to not share those great outfits of yours with the rest of the world!

*Update: I already got 2 e-mails asking about my lipstick, so here you go: it's MAC's Rebel, from the Satin collection*

Gift ideas Pt 1

Accessories are always a preety safe idea when it comes to gifts. Here are some pieces I shot that day at Toi&Moi. I thought that they'd be useful for those of you who are currently gift-hunting.

Athens Voice

Well, turns out Conn-x is quite a Fashion Lover!
Thank you!

New Obsession

Yeap! I have a new Obsession. Open toe shoes worn with opaque tights. And bold lips.
Actually, my intention was to make my coat look like a dress or actually to make my dress look like an extention of the coat, I'm not sure I nailed it though.

Myfashionfruit.com

More exciting news for all the online shoppers out there! Myfashionfruit.com is up and running and I couldn't resist checking it out. It's very easy to use, shipping in Greece is free and the items sold are chic and unique. Do I need to say anything else to convince you that it's worth visiting?
Here are some of my personal favorites to get an idea:

A statement cuff. This would look SO good with my winter outfits.
Blue gloves because I'm really into black and blue these days.
And last but not least the perfect grey bag. It's the right size for everyday use and can be paired with everything.

The E-fashion Store

Well, the e-fashion store is finally up and I can't wait to show you my dress! So here I am. Needless to say that I'd love to see you "like" the page and hear your comments! (Damn! I'm so stressed!)

It's lilac and it's the preetiest dress in the whole world

Yeap, I guess that I'm officially now the happiest person on earth! All I can say is I have no words to thank Loukia. People like her are so rare to find and she's like the ultimate role model. Well, Words are not enough, seriously I just felt like I found my match in this dress.

Toi&Moi The E-fashion Store

Finally, the time has come! From tomorrow we'll be able to shop for Toi-Moi online. Here are some details on the new online store for those of us who can't wait:
The site has been designed according to the highest standards and there are 3 categories that I'm sure you'll love. The first one is called "For Fashionistas". It's actually the place where you 'll find the special items of each collection and yes, it is the category that we modeled/styled our outfits for, back in the day. (I'm so excited about this one!)
The second category is the "Top 5 Dresses" where the Toi&Moi team chooses their favorite dresses for us and last but not least the "Best Sellers" because we 're always curious to find out about the items that people like the most.
Moreover, with purchases worth 120€ or more you instantly get the e-bonus card that gives you 10% off your next online buys and yes Ladies delivery in Greece costs absolutely nothing!

Well, I can assure you that the Toi&Moi team has worked very, very hard on this project so we should all show them some love tomorrow, don't you think?

*For Europe and the Balkans the standard delivery costs 12€ and the Express 20€.

Favorite Things - Earrings

Here's another "Favorite Things" post. These are my 2 favorite pairs of earrings when it comes to everyday accessories. I wear them with almost everything and they just add that little something to my boring outfits.

Atelier Loukia (the dress that stole my heart)

Well, you know me... Whenever I visit a showroom I HAVE to try clothes on! You thought I wouldn't do that at Loukia's atelier? I have no words to describe how I felt about this dress. It's like I said the moment I put it on: You can't have that dress and not be the happiest person on earth!
The dress and a random pic Lopi took of me while I was on the floor trying to take a proper picture of those buttons. Yeap, blogging can be hard at times!
