Saturday Favorite - The Straw Boater by H&M

It's no secret that I have a thing for H&M hats, so how could I not notice this lovely little straw boater hat last week when I attended the Fashion Against Aids presentation?

The Asymmetrical Lace Dress

This blue lace dress instantly became the most practical new addition to my closet. The asymmetric hemline is very cool and I love how it can look good with most of my shoes. I 've already worn it quite sometimes without adding anything else so now the challenge is to try and make it "new" again. Let's see!

The Gold Skirt

Remember that skirt that I wore to attend the MadWalk by Vodafone Pre-Party? Well, here's how I paired it for a morning outing. Actually, you can't really see it but the top is very interesting (take a closer look here) plus the color of its details matches perfectly the gold color of the skirt.

The Leather Skirt and the Sheer Top

Leather skirts have definitely been one of my biggest obsessions these past months. This skirt in particular was also love at first sight. I had it on in one of our Miss Bloom Fashion How-To videos and from the first moment I loved its perfect fit. Needless to say, I bought it right away. As for the hat it was a gift from my beloved friend Crista. She had brought it to me from Paris so it goes without saying that it has a special place in my heart!

The Flat Booties and the Loose Knit

These motorcycle booties are what I call my "Weekend Shoes". I always put them on to do my shopping on Saturdays (and always get compliments on them) but I can't wait to wear them with bare legs and sundresses now that the weather is finally getting warmer!

Anyway, here's what I paired them with recently:

The Two-Toned leather jacket

Here's what I chose to wear a few weeks ago for a Sunday lunch meeting with friends. Actually most of pieces are quite old (last year's shoes + dress, bag from like 4 years ago etc) but I think that my new two-toned leather jacket kind of made the whole thing look cool again. Btw I had totally forgotten how versatile and easy - to - wear leather jackets are. Yeap, you got it. You 'll be seeing this a lot!
