On Monday I headed downtown with my fellow MissBloomers to attend the Madwalk Pre-Party at Vicky Kaya's Fashion Workshop and despite the fact that I was dead tired I had a very, very good time! So here are some pics and the 5 +1 things I loved the most:

There's nothing that makes my day more than my fuchsia coat. I love it because it combines the military details, the kind - of - 60's - inspired cut and the bright color plus it looks great with almost anything. Now that we 're entering the sales period I totally recommend that you invest in such a piece, it's totally worth it!

Here's the first X-mas gift I got this year!

As I told you before, Melissa is one of my favorite brands in terms of eco-friendliness and design. I spent all summer wearing my my orange Jean Paul Gaultier for Melissa shoes (the most comfortable high heels ever) but now I guess it is about time I introduced you to my new Melissas, that also happen to be the only pair of flats I loved at first sight. Designed by the one and only Gareth Pugh these are the cutest and funkiest flats I've ever seen (and you know I'm not really into flats, so I guess that makes them even cooler!). I got the red version and I can't wait to put them on!

To be honest I'm developing a huge crush on maxi skirts worn with tights and chunky booties so I could not really resist pairing this skirt of mine with those Asos shoes. Another thing I like lately is sporty tops mixed with girly/feminine pieces so when I saw this sweater at Blanco I was 100% sure I had to make it mine!

Dimitris' Petrou fashion show was probably the best of 2011. As for the day of the show was one of the days that I really wanted to wear my red lipstick so I had to find a dress that was fancy but not TOO shiny. That's why I chose to wear this silk one from Zara and pair it with my new black open-toe booties from Blanco and no extra accessories.

I promised I'd be back with more from the Monsoon - Accessorize headquarters in London so here I am with the pictures from the Spring - Summer 2012 collection. Speaking of the headquarters (the "Yellow Building" as it is called) I'm afraid that I can't even describe how cool that place is. I'll just say that the first thing I saw when I entered the building was a huge Carousel! Anyway, here is a quick description of the SS lines:

Arizona (the evolution of last summer's Phoenix) is all about the cool global traveller style. Slouchy bags, tribal influences, gold jewelry, silk scarves, traditional Aztec and Navajo beading on the cuffs, accessories with coins are my favorites from the collection.

Coquette: This collection is all about statement accessories, bold and fun colors, cute prints (polka dots, stars, Flamingos, fruits), plastic accessories, girly hats and retro shades.

Tiki: Ethnic meets Street slick and the outcome is sophisticated and every-day perfect.

Bonbon: Girly and cute, the Bonbon collection is the epitome of retro, kind of 60's chic but with Japanese twists. Needless to say I fell for the backpack with the bird print and the box clutches (not pictured here).

Beach Belles: Inspired by the 60's and the 70's next season's beachwear is vibrant and fun to wear.

The Purple Dress

As I've said before, I decided to be very strict about my new purchases and one of my rules is that I'm not going to get anything that's black or grey. So, to make a long story short, fashion-wise color is this season's challenge. While looking for the perfect every-day dress (as you know I rarely wear pants) I came across this one. Apart from the color that I love, since I'm really obsessed with purple lately, I also liked the cut: minimal and kind of girly it seemed like an ideal buy. I've already worn it twice and I can't wait for those Asos babies to arrive so that I can experiment a bit with the colors!

Adidas Ermou Opening Party

Last night my partner in crime (a.k.a Lopi) and I headed downtown to celebrate the opening of the new Adidas store at Ermou Street.

Now, I would really like to say how much I liked the store but the fact that my friend Nikos (yes, the one who designs my headers) worked on the project doesn't make me the most objective judge right? It's no secret that I love high - heels (and shopping online). From the first time I saw those Asos shoes (while writing this post for Miss Bloom) I felt that they'd make a perfect match to my winter outfits. I'm planning to wear them with my black opaque tights like I did a lot last year and I think that they 're going to add that 70's touch that I'm so into this season. Needless to say I can't wait for them to arrive!

Almost a month ago I was introduced to Callisto, a relatively new environmental organization for wildlife and nature. It was founded in 2004 in Thessaloniki and as a NGO it focuses on the "Conservation of biodiversity and of areas of high natural and aesthetic value, with emphasis on mountainous ecosystems and forests in Greece, the Balkans and other neighbouring countries".

Mi-Ro & Kalogirou show Outfit Post

Here's what I chose to wear at the Mi-Ro & Kalogirou fashion show at Golden Hall. My main concern while choosing this outfit was that I had to get there straight from the office so I had to wear something comfortable but chic. My grey Zara dress seemed like the perfect choice and I wasn't disappointed. It's very comfortable and it kept me warm (ok kind-of-warm) plus my accessorize necklace once again saved me (it can upgrade the simplest pieces of my wardrobe in a sec!)

On my nails: Essie's "Size Matters". Now speaking of Essie, have you seen the new collection? I got all the colors and I absolutely can't wait to put each one of them on.

Kalogirou & Mi-Ro Show at Golden Hall, Athens

Yesterday afternoon I attended the much anticipated Mi-Ro & Kalogirou show at Golden Hall. The event was organized in order to celebrate Kalogirou's 120th anniversary and I have to admit that from the very first moment that I heard about it I was pretty sure that it was going to be something big! Of course I wasn't disappointed. The Mi-Ro clothes and the shoes from Kalogirou were absolutely stunning (not that I expected anything less than that) and I really should congratulate the Kalogirou and Mi-Ro teams for the perfect organization of the event.

Yeap I was one of the lucky one's who got the chance to go backstage!

A couple of weeks ago I was introduced to this new online shop, called xl Closet. As you 've probably already guessed it specializes in plus - size clothing and I have to admit that it surprised me with its freshness and variety. It's available in Greek and in English and I totally recommend that you check the "Offers" category in order to find cool stuff in smart prices. Also, you should definitely check the Accessories. Yeap, this is where this scarf comes from! Now, speaking of the scarf, I have to say that it was love at first sight: the color is perfect to match with my jeans and I love its ethnic details.

The print is the perfect abstract floral and it had those little orange details that matched perfectly with my beloved Jean Paul Gaultier for Melissa shoes. To be honest at first I was a little worried about wearing a printed skirt but it ended up being one of the pieces I wore the most.

Celebrating 1 year of Notos Galleries in Thessaloniki

As I promised I'm back with more details on our recent trip to Thessaloniki to celebrate Notos Galleries' 1st birthday. But first of all I have to say that the store itself was a very pleasant surprise.

And here's the "team": Pepy, Eleni, Zeta, Chrissiana, (me - well, obviously) and Lopi (well, obviously n.2)

Anyway, after my shoes went under thorough control at the airport (and I really do not blame the airport staff for not understanding why on earth would someone travel in 12cm heels at 8 o'clock in the morning) we arrived in sunny Thessaloniki where we found A LOT of surprises waiting for us (and all the other guests)!

The fashion show was one of them. The styling was mix & matchy but I couldn't take my eyes off the little black dresses that closed the show.

And there was (good) live music!

And we had TONS of fun!

If you follow me on twitter you already know that on Saturday we had a fantastic time in Thessaloniki, celebrating Notos Galleries' 1st birthday. The SHOP112 party was an event that I couldn't miss so despite my hectic schedule I managed to get there on time (10 mins before the closing that is). Those 10' though, were enough for me to see all those friends I hadn't seen in months and find the coat of my dreams.

Mulberry SS '12 - London Fashion Week

Ok, first things first! Sorry for the lack of updates the last couple of weeks. I just moved to a new house and as you understand my life was a mess all those days. I am now settled and I'll be back to regular updates, I promise!

Anyway, this season I didn't make it to the Mulberry show but that doesn't mean I'm not going to share my favorites with you. After all you know I'm a big fan! Inspired by the English seaside this collection was the epitome of cool-meets-cute if you want my opinion. I liked all the outfits, especially the multi-coloured ones and I totally fell in love with the anoraks and the chic dresses. I swear sometimes I feel like Mulberry's Emma Hill can read my mind.

The Skinny Brown Belt

As you already know I suck when it comes to dressing according to the weather conditions, so I guess I don't really have to explain why the only weather-appropriate item I had with me in my recent trip in Paris was that knitted top you see me wearing here (and here). I need to grow up, I know!

In other news It's been almost 2 years since I first got these shorts and I still can't get over how comfortable they are. As for the skinny belt, as I've said before it came with a Pull&Bear dress and it quickly became my favorite.

It's my 3d day in Paris so I guess I have to tell you why I'm here. Well, I was invited to take an interview from Monica Bellucci who is the new face of Oriflame's Royal Velvet line and attend the Oriflame Conference that's taking place here. But apart from that, I also got the chance to interview Malin Akerman who's also one of Oriflame's new faces (special thanks to Eva from Cosmo for that!) and I have to say I was impressed by how sweet she was and all her positive energy. I was also surprised since she told us that she spent 6 months in Greece while she was working as a model and she even knew some Greek Words. Too cute!

I got these Zara shorts last year as an alternative for my every-day office outfits (no matter how much I love dresses I sometimes get bored) and although I feel that they don't really look good on me I wear them a lot. I like the color and I really enjoy the fact that I can pair them with all those belts that I have and never really wear.

Speaking of the necklace, I got it last year and had never worn it before so I thought I should give it a try . I got this over-oversized tee from H&M especially for my little getaway. You see, no matter how much I love clothes and shoes, when I have some days off I prefer to be as comfortably dressed as possible. So, since I was on an Island I decided that all I needed was my swimsuits and the tee (yeap! no shoes during the day). I have to admit it was fun!

The first thing I bought for my mini-vacation was this trilby. I love, love, love wearing hats, especially during the summer and I couldn't resist getting this one. Luckily, it turned out to be a very good choice since I later realised that it's foldable so I don't have to worry about putting it in my bag or well, sitting on it (yes I do that a lot)!

Interviewing Benetton's new Creative Director, You Nguyen

As I told you a few days ago I was invited by the Benetton Group to Milan to meet the brand's new Chief Merchandising Executive and Creative Director, You Nguyen and Alessandro Benetton himself. You can see more about You Nguyen's career here but let me just tell you that one of the previous positions that he held, was Levi's Global Senior Vice President of Merchandising and Design and that he was actually the one who strategized and launched Levi's Curve ID globally.

My personal impression is that he is a very smart man and I absolutely loved his style (how cool are his orange pants?!). Anyway, I gathered some of the most interesting quotes from our 30 min. talk so that you can judge for yourselves. So here we go!

On Benetton: Benetton is and will always be about the classics

There are companies that should be known for Fashion. Like H&M and Zara. I don’t go to Benetton for that, I go to Benetton because I will find the most beautiful colours. I will go to Benetton because I know that I’ll buy a sweater it will last me more than one season or two wash. That’s what we should be.

On quality: It starts with the yarn. What kind of yarn do we use, the staple that we use. We tend to use very long staple yarn, because the shorter the staple the more fragile, it breaks up easily.

So It starts with the material, what yarn or fabric and then second how do you put the yarn together, how do you construct the garment.

On Art and Architecture: I go back to what was and still is Luciano and the family’s passion. If you come to the Veneto area, if you come to where we work, their passion is into art and architecture. He (Luciano) gave to Tobia Scarpa, when Tobia Scarpa was not a very well known architect a major project because he believed in art, he believed in architecture. Fabrica was designed by Tadao Ando. So if that’s their passion how can I approach building garments like I would build a building?

I worked with Issey Miyake and at that point he said to me (although I was way to young to understand what the heck he was talking about) "the clothe is important on the outside but the essential element of clothes is the space between the body and the clothe. That’s what when women move or men move that makes it interesting" that’s architecture.

A house protects a human being , clothes also protect a human being.

On Italian Style: Benetton is an Italian brand so we need to be able to express our italieness.

My muse is people who live in Italy. There’s no age and no economic class, it’s how they engage with clothes.

Italian style is taking very classical elements of the wardrobe but wear them with such individuality that you go “wow!”, the play of colours. So when you say do I have a consumer in mind, I have a muse that I want the brand to focus on and I have a consumer that could be 18 could be 50 could be 65 but they love quality, they love classic elements that allow them to express themselves. That’s what I’m hoping to get. (While saying that he took his iPad and showed us amongst others this pic by the Sartorialist so that we could understand what he meant by wearing classics in one's personal way)

On the Benetton Stores: I don’t believe in the one- store concept. The essence has to be the same but the concept has to be kind of part of the community that exists in. Pick Paris: A store in Champs-Élysées has to be different than a store in Le Marais. That’s what I would hope for our store to become: part of the community in which it exists.

On e-Commerce: With the advance of digital people keep talking stores versus digital. I personally don’t believe it’s an either / or. I think they work together and they complement each other. I’ve seen so many researches where consumers go on the net to do research and then they may choose to buy online or they may go to the store. To me it’s a complementary relationship. And our store can be that. I also want our store to become a platform for young artists, to say something. What prevents me from giving a window for a certain period of time to a young student from a design school and say here’s my collection, here’s my brand, this is the frame work, have fun! Can we do that in 6,300 stores? No, this would be uncontrollable; but if you look at the key mega cities in the world, you could do that.

On Big Cities: People talk a lot about global. Actually I don’t believe in Global, I believe in big Metropolitans. The cities become more important than the countries

On Bloggers: The thing is it’s always editor versus blogger, it’s really not. It’s different medium but the content is the same. I think that what bloggers have accelerated though is the conversation and the involvement of consumers into the brand. No longer can I have a kitchen and a big door that sais you cannot enter here because this is Benetton kitchen. I think what blogging and digital has forced the door to be open so now I have to have the courage to open my kitchen for people to come in and work with me and having the courage to have a conversation. Now if someone sais something about you in a blog you have to have the courage to say something back like“I appreciate your point of view, would you like to share with me why you like it or why you don’t like it”.

The days that I’d say "I’m the brand come see my collection, I’m great" are over. If you go on your blog and say "I saw a great sweater at Benetton" I tend to believe you more than I believe the brand. Is there danger in this? Of course! But it has always been there. Your collection cannot be appreciated by everyone, nor should it. When you try to attract everyone you become nothing.

On Celebrities: Celebrities sometimes act like a shortcut. Angelina Jolie is an amazing woman. I mean she’s beautiful, she managed to have a family, she managed to have a career. So let’s say she happened to be wearing a Benetton sweater and she gets caught wearing it. Is that going to make me want to check Benetton? Absolutely! Where I’m a little nervous and cautious is when a brand goes to a celebrity and say I will pay you to be wearing my clothes. I would be crazy to think that it doesn’t happen or it doesn’t work. It does work. But in the end I think that the consumer gets more savvy in the end.

That happens to some of the most influential blogs. At the beginning they endorsed on their own. Then, when the blogger becomes so powerful that certain brands connect with them and they become spokespersons for the brand, in the end I think it hurts the credibility of the blogger. So I think that the relationship with celebrities is a dangerous one. The second thing is how do you define celebrities: if the people that I admire from this brand are artists and architects, if Jean Nouvel happened to like what I do, that to me is really powerful. If a musician, if a designer – OMG if Damien Hirst wore a sweater by Benetton, that to me would be fabulous endorsement!

Kiehl's Friends Create for a Cause: Georgios Carabellas

Let me introduce you to Concept Maker exraordinaire Georgios Carabellas. George is one of the artists that teamed with Kiehl's for this project and here you can see him with his cuter-than-cute doggy, Thisseas who is also the mascot of Thission Revisited 2, George's Design & Fashion Concept Store.

The bags he created for Kiehl's are super-cool (Yeap, I've already seen them but I have to keep it a secret) but unfortunately I don't have images from the making of. You see, our hectic schedules made it really difficult to meet. What's more, George was in London where he had a very successful pop-up store opening at "The Merchant", in Notting Hill.

Anyway, I chose some of my favorite TR2 products so that you can get a taste of his work and maybe guess what the bags are going to look like.

The espadrilles caught my eye from the very first moment, they are unique, aren't they?

Preview: H&M Autumn/Winter Collection

I know, I know I should be talking about bikinis and Havaianas at this particular time of the year but after attending the Preview of the upcoming H&M Fall collection I just can't help it. I promise I'll make a post on the Summer stuff as well but for now here are some of my favorites of the new collection:

1. Officially my favorite shirt-dress ever: The print (horses are so cute), the sleeves and the belt were love at first sight.

2. Yay for this look. It's wearable, cosy and I love the shorts. (Keep in mind that this print also comes in an awesome open back dress!)

3. Seriously now, don't you feel like you want a cold day (or maybe two) just to wear this coat? I'm definitely buying this one!

4. It might be a little bit sportier than the ones that I'm used to but I still find that this Parka is super cool.

Chunky Heels

New in and already loved. Am I the only one here who thinks that chunky heels are cool?

Seriously now, I didn't see that coming but despite the 11cm heel (and not much of a platform on the front) these shoes are definitely amongst the most comfortable shoes I own. Plus I so needed a pair of brown shoes to pair with my non-black dresses like this one so it's considered a smart buy, right?

Kiehl's Friends Create for a Cause

Being one of Kiehl's "friends" is something that I'm quite proud of. You see, Kiehl's is one of those few brands that invest on social responsibility and prove that caring about the others can be part of a brand's identity. And you know I'm all for that!

Anyway, the reason I'm saying that is that Kiehl's is working on a project that aims to help the less privilleged children who live in the centre of Athens learn about Ecology and Art. What's interesting though is the concept: Kiehl's chose 9 artists and designers who will take the classic eco-friendly Kiehl's bags and turn them into pieces of art, while nine bloggers will monitor the process. For each bag that will be created Kiehl's will donate 100€ in order to finance an Eco Art workshop for the children who live in Kerameikos and Metaxourgio. The workshop will take place in the Rebecca Camchi Gallery and will be guided by the non-profit Organisation "Clean Up Greece".

Favorite Things - The Red Belt

This red belt was one of the first items I bought this season, since my outfits desperately needed a colourful touch. It's amazing how a belt can completely transform an outfit (if you choose the right belt that is!), my only problem is that belts are usually too big for my waist. Anyone having the same problem?

Anyway, I'm totally aware of the fact that I'm developing a huge addiction to red lately, I'm working on it (= looking for bright yellow and fuchsia pieces).

New In: Fullah Sugah

A few days ago I found the most beautiful package waiting for me at home and here I am, officially welcoming those Fullah Sugah babies into my life! I won't say much, the image speaks for itself I think.

I have to say though, that these shoes surprised me for many reasons. First of all the proportion of the platform and the heel is perfect. The shoes are very steady and the straps make sure that they are comfortable as well plus the glitter gives a wonderful princess-y touch which I adore.

My package also contained a super-comfy belt that I'm planning to wear a lot during the summer so stay tuned!

New In: Adidas Originals

Here's my new Adidas Originals Bag:

And here are the reasons why I love it:

1. The color: It's black&white and can be paired with most of my clothes.

2. It's reversible. I mean, who wouldn't love to have two bags in one? The one side is black with white leather on the bottom and the Αdidas Οriginals logo and the other one is well obviously the one you see on the photo.

3. It's roomy (translation: I can put all the useless stuff that I carry with me everyday, plus my laptop!)

4. The handle is longer than usual so it's really practical.

5. I have to admit that Adidas Originals make me feel so much cooler! (Yes I know it would be wiser not to make such statements in public!)

Reebok Easy Τone

Here's the latest addition to my Sneakers collection: Reebok Easy Tones. The first time I came across those cuties was in 2010 when I saw those pictures of Helena Christensen wearing them. And here I am, a year and 3 days later to share my own Easy Tone experience. To make a long story short they rock! Basically what's different than any other pair of sneakers is that the Easy Tones have two balance pods that make you put a slight effort to walk and help tone key leg muscles as a result. And believe me it really works. I wore them every single day to my regular 45 min. walk and I actually saw the difference right away. I totally recommend the Easy Tones if you are searching for your next pair of sneakers or if you want to exercise without putting much effort.

H&M SS '11 - A Closeup on the new Collections

Well, hello there! I know I've been neglecting the blog the last couple of weeks but once again my work schedule is busier than I can actually keep up with. Anyway I promise I'll do my best!

Here's a closer look at some of the new (or upcoming) H&M collections. I was lucky enough to be present at the brand's SS collections preview and I couldn't not share those pics with you.

Fashion Against AIDS: A unisex, androgynous collection that aims to spread the message that AIDS affects both sexes. Powerful and for a good cause but most of all wearable, since it's clothes we are talking about.

Conscious Collection. Well I'm all for a greener collection and it seems like H&M is taking it seriously. Catarina Midby, H&M's Trend Coordinator and Spokesperson granted me an interview back in March so you can read all about it here.

H&M Wateraid Collection, supporting -well obviously- Wateraid. (I so fell in love with the full skirts and the dresses, I'll definately write more about it when the time comes)

Atelier Loukia at Michael Cacoyannis Foundation

I have no words to describe how much I admire Loukia and seriously the world "perfection" is never, never enough to describe her designs. I can honestly say we were all speechless after the end of the show.

So much inspiration! A great show and wonderful, out-of-this-world clothes. I could spend hours taking closer looks at the clothes. Just imagine all the work that needs to be done to create those layers, the delicate lace and the chic embellishments.

I know the post is quite picture heavy but I couldn't leave anything out! Plus excuse the dusty floor at some of the pictures. They were shot at the rehearsal before the cleaning ladies worked their magic!

DElight FW '11/'12

I know it took me very long but I finally found some time to do those Fashion Week posts.I'm going to start with DElight since they rocked (ok, that's no surprise I know!). I find it very impressive that every time the girls take their work a step further and evolve without losing anything from the signature character of their clothes. Needless to say they -once again- had the best looking models and the styling was impeccable.

This year I was lucky enough to also be present at their rehearsal and you know, the good thing about rehearsals is that you can see everything up close and well, twice! Like this dress for example. After seeing it so many times walking down the runway I'm sure that I want it. Desperately may I add!

Last but not least I shouldn't forget to mention that the shoes are Fullah Sugah. The brand recently re-caught my eye since their new designs are awesome!

H&M Conscious Collection - Interviewing Catarina Midby, H&M's Trend Coordinator and Spokesperson

Sustainability is one of the biggest trends in the fashion industry right now. Customers slowly start taking ecological criteria into consideration when shopping and many brands (even the most successful Fast Fashion ones) have introduced "Green" collections. H&M was one of the first mainstream brands that followed this route but stirred controversy a couple of years ago after it was accused of using Non Organic Cotton in one of their Organic Collcetions*. Now, the brand comes back with the Conscious Collection for men, women and kids that has been produced using enviromental adapted materials.

Catarina Midby, H&M's Trend Coordinator and Spokesperson was kind enough to grant me an interview regarding the collection. So, before we move on to the Q&A's I would like to publicaly thank her for the time she spent to answer my questions.

Why is the Conscious Collection different than the others?

H&M: Our Conscious collection reflects our most forefront products on fashion and sustainability. Right now, it’s all about greener materials so this collection is made with organic cotton, Tencel and recycled polyester.

What is the biggest challenge when it comes to designing and producing a green collection for a mass audience?

H&M: Today, it’s about finding the right fashion qualities with more sustainable fibres at the right price and quantity. But in the future, a green collection may be about garments produced in CO2 neutral factories, or made from waste materials or… The criterias for our Conscious collections are a moving target.

The average consumer would probably say that the main problem about eco-friendly designs is that most of the times they are not fashionable and they are much more expensive than the non-green products. Do you believe that the Conscious Collection will satisfy those customers?

H&M: Yes!

Consumers seem to be skeptical after non organic cotton was said to be found in one of H&M’s Organic Cotton Collections. Could you please tell us a little bit more about the materials that have been used this time? According to the press release they are «greener». Does that mean that they are 100% eco-friendly?

H&M: We say greener because there are no materials that are a 100% sustainable. There is always some impact producing materials and garments. We have used organic cotton, recycled polyester (from post consumer plastic) and Tencel.

A sustainable collection is definitely a step towards ethical fashion. At the same time, as far as I am concerned H&M has very strict rules regarding the supply chain working conditions. Does the company have a plan on adapting more ethical processes when it comes to the production and distribution of the H&M products and if so could you please give us an example?

H&M: We are always looking for ways to improve and when we update our Code of Conduct or Chemical restrictions list – or our Code of Ethics for that matter, we communicate in on our website and in our CSR report.

There is one thing I instantly fell in love with from the very first moment I found out about Celebrity Skin: The way Dimitris Strepkos and Eleni Barla play with volume and frills. One year later and it remains my favorite element of their collections.

Here's a typical AXDW outfit of mine. Choosing what to wear at such events is always tricky. You see, there's a lot of things that should be taken into consideration like the fact that I should better not have a jacket with me (as it will probably get lost) and that I spend A LOT of time on the floor trying to take some proper pics. Now, I do understand that this wouldn't be a problem if I were a normal person who doesn't hate wearing pants and flat shoes but well, I guess that's just typical me!

Anyway, this outfit turned out to be preety good. The sweater was warm enough so that I didn't have to wear anything on top (although I finally took my ASOS trench with me), the skirt was comfortable and the opaque tights made sure (or at least I hope so!) that not everybody in the room saw my panties (just saying)!

Antoine Antoniadis FW 2011/12

Antoine Antoniadis is a Greek-French designer, currently living and working in Paris. Although he is very young (27 years old, to be accurate) his show stood out during the first day of AXDW. It was probably because of the techniques he used and the coherence of the collection. His designs are very classic, surprisingly elegant and mature, Parisian chic at it's best in a few words. I have to admit that there is something really intimidating about those structured jackets, the extraordinary capes, the beautiful coats, and the handmade accessories but it was definitely the hand-knitted leather that made the difference. I'm officially a fan!

Well, I couldn't resist posting these shoes. Are they amazing or are they amazing?

Chara Lebessi FW 2011/12

Chara Lebessi is one of those few designers I'd trust for an open back or very, very short dress. Once again she remained true to her simple yet cute and ladylike designs, the feminine fabrics and sexy elements. Well, if I were a little bit taller and much thinner I could definitely see me wearing most of these clothes.

Stelios Koudounaris FW 2011/12

Miltos @AXDW

Miltos is an AXDW regular and I have to admit that there's something really impressive about how loyal his customers are. Anyway, this collection was all about 50's inspired clothes, splashes of color, beautiful polka dots, ladylike ruffles and cute bows mixed with contemporary details and cuts and the traditional show-finale extravaganza.

This was supposed to be a FW Collection but obviously it's the SS one. Anyway, here's the show finale on video:

On Wednesday my boss a.k.a Eleni Stasinopoulou and I found ourselves at the .Lak show. Since I was on Stylista.gr duty I've already written a report here so I won't repeat the whole thing. I have to admit though, that being there was so much fun! As for the clothes, they were wearable but with extreme details that gave that extra something to the collection. In other news, I think I'm developing a serious addiction to platforms (aren't those yellow ones cute?)

Gant SS 2011

You already know that I've worked for Gant for 3 years so it goes without saying that I still feel kind of connected to the brand. I always check their new collections as soon as they hit the stores and I was happier than you can imagine when I saw their first NY Fashion Week Show for the Gant by Michael Bastian collection.

Back in August, I visited the showroom and caught a glimpse (ok, took some pics that is) of the SS collection. Here for example, are two of my favorite Gant by Michael Bastian outfits. Is it me or there's something really chic in the way lace is mixed with the rather casual striped garment?

And here comes the part that I'm mostly excited about, since I personally believe that in order for someone to get the feeling of a collection, one should also take a look at the store. Thanos Lamprou, one of Gant's Merchandisers and head of the Notos Com Gant Visual Merchandising team provided me some images from stores that he worked on all around the world! Needless to say that Thanos is a very talented individual and I find that his work is always inspiring (plus I had the time of my life being his little helper and learning from him). Anyway, Thanos has been the best teacher but that's a different story I guess!

The navy touches have always been my favorites when it comes to Gant. As a theme it's almost always a part of the SS collections but it never looks the same and it never gets boring.

Lacoste & Save your Logo

While I was working on this piece regarding the new Lacoste collection I stumbled upon a very interesting campaign named "Save Your Logo". The concept is simple and based on the fact that many well-known and successful brands have chosen an animal or a plant as their logo. Practically what happens is that the companies that participate to the campaign support the animal or plant that they use. Lacoste in particular, was the first international brand to participate to the campaign and has launched several projects that aim to protect different types of crocodiles around the world.

CSR in general has become a trend and the majority of companies participate to such campaigns, it's definitely no big news that a clothing brand is involved in a project like that. But for some reason this campaign seemed different to me. Apart from the fact that I adore animals and believe that Lacoste is like the classiest brand, I think that the "Save your Logo" idea is a very smart and unique one. What do you think?

"Strigles" at the Meet Market

If you happen to be a fan of preety, colorful little things you should definitely pass by Strigles' stand at the Meet Market this weekend. And when I say "colorful and preety" I mean something like this necklace, probably the funkiest accessory I own. It's handmade and it gives extra cuteness points to all of my boring jeans-tee-scarf everyday outfits.

Favorite Things - New Earrings

Believe it or not while I was in London I did not buy a single thing, except those earrings, that is. I bumped into them after I left Claridge's where the Mulberry Presentation was held and got them without a second thought (not that I ever think much before I buy something but that's another story). A pair of statement earrings, I thought, always comes in handy.

Here you see me wearing my lovelies while I'm getting my microphone for an I-can't-reveal-anything-about-it project. The pic was shot by none other than Mrs Lopi and it's too bad you can't see the microphone guy's "Retired Superstar" t-shirt.

Selfridge's during London Fashion Week

Here are some (preety crappy, I have to admit) photos I took in February during my visit in London for the Fashion Week. What you see is Selfridge's Window displays during FW. They caught my eye from the very first moment and immediately I knew I had to share 'em with you and learn more about the concept.

The "Bright Young Things" project turned out to be even more interesting than the displays themselves since it was all about giving young talents the opportunity to show their work. Very cool, if you want my opinion!

Mulberry's Limited Edition Jewelled Lily

Actually the Jewelled Lily is the same size and style as the original Lily (also seen here) but the 2596 Swarowski Crystals and the 460 manually applied Mulberry Rivets turn it in to a limited edition piece. The jewelled Lilly was love at first sight for me when I first saw it at the SS Collection P review and I so wish I had 4,400€ to invest on it and add a little (classy) sparkle in my life. Did I mention that due to the fact that they 're handmade, no two Jewelled Lilies are the same? As if it wasn't perfect enough!
